Sacred Ohms is a platform that connects the owners of beautiful sacred properties (“Ohms”) to retreat Retreat Leaders who are seeking an energetically aligned space that is tailored to fit their desires for hosting their experience.

We honor the profound healing potential of medicine, yet we must respect laws where it is prohibited. We encourage open dialogue between Ohms and Retreat Leaders looking to host a space for such practices, as we believe in fostering a harmonious and responsible approach to holistic well-being. However, we are not involved in any facilitation and it is the responsibility of both parties to ensure compliance with all applicable laws. Sacred Ohms LLC is not liable for any illegal activities conducted on the premises.

We discovered that finding the ideal space for a retreat was often challenging for retreat Retreat Leaders for several reasons that include but are not limited to the difficulty in finding a truly sacred location, facing unexpected responsibilities of equipping a home with the materials necessary for various wellness activities and workshops and feeling out of alignment with the home owner’s values.

Our solution is to provide a platform where retreat Retreat Leaders can connect with Ohms that are being held to the standards necessary to ensure a blissful experience.

Booking an Ohm

1. How do I explore properties on Sacred Ohms?

To find a Sacred Ohm for your next retreat, visit our Sacred Ohms website and enter your desired location, travel dates, and/or number of guests. Browse through the available listings and use filters to refine your search based on price, amenities, and other preferences like sustainability rating.

2. How does Sacred Ohms select their homes?

Sacred Ohms carefully selects properties that not only provide the best chance for retreat leaders to host a successful retreat but also align with our mission and operate with integrity. We have partnered with properties all around the world, ranging in size to accommodate the diversity of retreats being held.

3. What sets Sacred Ohms apart from other booking sites like Airbnb or Vrbo?

Sacred Ohms is a purpose-driven, membership-only community, and integrated booking platform that revolutionizes the wellness experience by seamlessly connecting Retreat Leaders to energetically aligned property hosts, fostering a harmonious booking and retreat hosting experience for all.

4. How can I book a place on Sacred Ohms?

Once you've found a listing you're interested in, select your travel dates and the number of guests. Review the listing details, house rules, cancellation policy, and any additional fees. Click on "Request to Book" if available, and follow the prompts to complete your booking request.

5. Can I message the host before booking?

Yes, you can message the host before booking to ask any questions you may have about the listing, amenities, or local recommendations. Simply click on the "Contact Host" button on the listing page.

6. What kind of Retreats is Sacred Ohms most suitable for?

Our services are specifically designed to cater to Retreat Leaders who organize intentional retreats in different parts of the world. Whether you're planning a women's retreat, wellness retreat, yoga retreat, fitness retreat, music retreat, corporate retreat, surf retreat or other retreat experience that is designed to elevate human consciousness, you can find a memorable space for a fulfilling retreat experience.

7. Is Sacred Ohms medicine friendly?

We honor the profound healing potential of medicine, yet we must respect laws where it is prohibited. We encourage open dialogue between Ohms and Retreat Leaders looking to host a space for such practices, as we believe in fostering a harmonious and responsible approach to holistic well-being but we are not involved in any facilitation. These conversations are left to be had between Retreat Leaders and Ohms transparently, truthfully and respectfully.

Rules, Cancellations, and Refunds

1. What are house rules?

The house rules vary depending on which property you are interested in. It is recommended that you fully read and understand all parts of the property’s listing before booking. If desired, you may reach out to the property with specific questions to gain additional clarity.

2. What is the booking payment structure?

Once you have found a property that aligns with your retreat, please select your desired dates. To confirm your booking, 40% payment is required at the time of booking and the remaining is required to be paid 45 days from the start date of the retreat.

4. What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation Policy #1 - Full Refund

Retreat Leaders are subject to a full refund if they cancel 90 days or more before the retreat, and is transferable. Within 90 days, they are not subject to a refund, nor is it transferable.

Cancellation Policy #2 - Partial Refund

Retreat Leaders are subject to a 50% refund if they cancel 90 days or more before the retreat, and is transferable. Within 90 days, they are not subject to a refund, nor is it transferable.

Cancellation Policy #3 - No Refund

Retreat Leaders are not subject to a refund after booking. The reservation is transferable 90 days or more before the retreat. Within 90 days, the reservation is non-transferable.

All refunds will incur a 3% nonrefundable processing fee.

5. How can I cancel my reservation?

To cancel a reservation, log in to your Sacred Ohms account, find the reservation you wish to cancel, and click "Cancel", The refund amount will depend on the host's cancellation policy and the timing of the cancellation.

6. Can I get a refund if I need to cancel my reservation?

Refund eligibility depends on the home’s cancellation policy and the timing of the cancellation. Sacred Ohms Guest Refund Policy outlines the specific circumstances under which you may be eligible for a refund. Review the policy or contact Sacred Ohms support for further assistance.

7. How and when do I get my security deposit returned to me?

Your security deposit will be returned to you if no damages have occurred during your stay and payments have been made on time. Once you successfully check out of the property, your security deposit will be refunded to your initial form of payment within 5-7 business days.

2. What safety measures does Sacred Ohms have in place?

Sacred Ohms has implemented safety features including host and guest reviews, vetted members, secure payment systems, and a messaging platform to enhance trust and transparency. Additionally, each property lists their unique safety features on their profiles.

3. What should I do if there's an issue during my stay?

If you encounter any issues during your stay, first try to communicate with the property manager to resolve the problem. If the issue is not resolved, you can reach out to Sacred Ohms through our chat feature or email hello@sacredohms.com and we will assist you and the property owner until resolution is achieved.

Costs for Retreat Leaders

1. What does it cost to become a member of Sacred Ohms as a Retreat Leader?

There is no fee to find or list a property on Sacred Ohms. Sacred Ohms charges a 15% fee to Ohms for every booking. Sacred Ohms does not charge Retreat Leaders a fee for bookings. However, if a credit card is used, there is a standard 2.9% processing fee from the credit card company.
