Property Description
Hansen Guest Ranch Western-style accommodations in a bed and breakfast setting, perfect to host your next retreat. The scenic property features a historic renovated barn more than 125 years old that includes three downstairs suites, each with a queen-size bed. The ranch is also home to a roomy Wrangler’s Cottage and two creekside cabins, all featuring two queen beds each. The Hansen Guest Ranch & Event Venue also has four bunkhouse cabins in two different buildings complete with front porches and vaulted ceilings. Each bunkhouse sleeps 12 in six sets of bunk beds. Hansen Guest Ranch & Event Venue was homesteaded in 1901 by Alfred Bernard and was first established as a cattle ranch on 200 acres. Some buildings built in the 1890s - including the barn built in 1890 and the rock house built in 1883 - still stand on the property to this day. In 1919, Alfred sold the property to John and Amy Miller. They had the Wrangler’s Cottage built in 1939 and the main house in 1948. Archie and Geneva McCay purchased the ranch in 1958. They kept the business going until 1985 when brothers Que and Brett Hansen acquired the property and decided to turn it into a guest ranch. In 1996, they had the Rainbow and Cottonwood cabins built. In 2003, they upgraded Hansen Guest Ranch & Event Venue with a dining hall, bunkhouse, and a multi-purpose building. Also, the owner of Hansen Guest Ranch is a retreat leader herself and has the organizational tools to help you have a successful experience for you and your clients
